Opening in 2018 in Nuevo Vallarta, the properties offer access to a theme park created by visionaries in both the entertainment and hospitality worlds
HOLLYWOOD, FLA. (May 3, 2016 ) – RCI, the worldwide leader in vacation exchange, welcomes two new affiliated resorts to its RCI and The Registry Collection ® exchange networks. The new properties from Grupo Vidanta – The Cascades and Kingdom of the Sun – are scheduled to open in 2018. They will offer unforgettable vacations in Nuevo Vallarta, Mexico, built around a first-of-its kind Cirque du Soleil ® theme park.

The properties will be intertwined with the Cirque du Soleil ® theme park, the only attraction of this kind in the world. Here, travelers can move beyond spectatorship to become characters within the park’s interactive stage and experience Cirque as never before. The park will include several themed sections that feature live performances, entertaining rides with a unique cirque spin and adventuresome games and challenges.
An onsite cirque school can take the participation even further. Here, travelers will be able to learn some of the physical and entertainment skills they see in the Cirque du Soleil shows from the performers themselves, ranging from acrobatic feats* to learning how to apply other-worldly stage makeup. In doing so, travelers will get a taste of what it is like to actually be a part of a Cirque du Soleil performance.
Kingdom of the Sun , the property affiliated with The Registry Collection program,will be a golden palace providing luxury accommodations at the doorstep of the theme park and the unique cirque school. The Cascades , affiliated with RCI, will be a gorgeous spa resort that will provide immersive cirque experiences with each room overlooking the park itself.
