RCI’s commitment to excellence is just one reason why it is the exchange company of choice for many of the world’s leading companies in the industry – both branded and independent.
Quality Assurance is one of the most powerful tools a resort developer can own. By having a well-developed programme in place, a developer can gain an objective and unbiased insight into the effectiveness of those practices most critical to driving the resort’s profits.
- 42 per cent of RCI affiliated resorts are recognized for their quality in RCI’s Resort Recognition Programme through RCI Gold Crown, RCI Silver Crown, and RCI Hospitality Awards
- Rigorous Quality Assurance programmes measure and recognise product quality and service delivery to help strive toward customer satisfaction
RCI’s Resort Recognition Programme
RCI is committed to strengthening the resort timeshare industry by ensuring that timeshare owners enjoy quality vacation experiences. To recognise those affiliate resorts who meet or exceed these high standards, RCI has created three distinguished awards:
Selection for these prestigious awards is determined annually using the minimum score guidelines for each programme. Click here to download our Resort Recognition Programme brochure.
Comment Card Programme
RCI primarily obtains feedback on affiliated resorts through a comment card programme to determine quality.
Members are asked to complete comment cards on return from their exchange holiday and can submit comments either through the post or on line. RCI affiliates can then access the comments of their guests on line to review them.
The RCI Comment Card Programme benefits both affiliates and members by providing data that the affiliated resort can use for internal service standards and reward and recognition programmes.
RCI uses this data to determine award levels for the Resort Recognition Programme, trading power, and to assist resorts who need quality improvements.
Comment Card categories rated by RCI subscribing members:
- Check In / Check Out
- Resort & Unit Amenities
- Resort Hospitality
- Resort & Unit Maintenance
- Resort Activities
- Staff Responsiveness
- Overall Atmosphere
- Overall Holiday Experience
Resort Quality Improvement Programme (RQIP)
RCI takes the quality of our affiliated resorts very seriously and will only include those with sufficiently high standards in their products, services and accommodations in our exchange network.
RCI expects RCI affiliated resorts to maintain sufficiently high Comment Card score averages in all of the categories surveyed on the RCI Member Comment Card. Should an affiliated resort fall below the minimum requirements, the resort will be placed in RCI’s Resort Quality Improvement Programme (RQIP). Resorts in RQIP must take the necessary steps to raise their Comment Card score averages and provide RCI with an action plan detailing how they will improve their Comment Card scores.
RCI will work closely with affiliated resorts placed in RQIP to help raise Comment Card score averages. We are confident that our affiliates will do what is necessary to improve their scores, which we believe will result in higher satisfaction for both members and owners.
Another way for our members to provide feedback on their vacation experience is through Member Reviews on RCI.com. Members are able to rate any recently visited RCI affiliated resort as well as read what other members are saying.
