‘Summer of Discontent’ transforms Britons’ travel habits

British tourists are becoming increasingly concerned over their personal safety and the safety of their families when abroad, and are changing their travel habits as a result.
That’s the findings of new research by travel deals company Travelzoo, whose survey showed how recent events were impacting Britons’ willingness to travel abroad. Just over half said recent acts of terrorism (54%) and the migrant situation (51%) had directly influenced how they feel about taking overseas holidays.
