Maldives launches global advertising campaign with BBC

Maldives Marketing and PR Corporation (MMPRC) has kick-started its Visit Maldives Year 2016 activities with the launch of a global advertising campaign in partnership with the BBC.

The campaign will run until 31 October 2015 and is designed to showcase the destination’s unique selling points and increase visitation during 2016.  The BBC campaign highlights the unique aspects of the Maldives under the destination’s tag line ‘The Sunny Side of Life’ in a new 30-second commercial and 4×15 second teasers. In addition to BBC’s TV channel, the advertisement will also run on www.bbc.com’s Video on Demand section, reaching a significant target audience of 1,020,400 users.
