In the headlines recently was the announcement that RCI has welcomed 24 new properties in the Asia Pacific and India region to its exchange network during the first half of 2019, with a total of 613 affiliated-resorts now available in the Asia Pacific and India region The 24 properties are located across a wide range of popular tourist destinations such as Vietnam, Malaysia, and China. 

Positive news for UK resorts is the upward trend in visitors in England's museums and art galleries, with a visitor and revenue growth of 2 per cent on prior year. VisitEngland’s latest domestic tourism statistics show that for the first four months of 2019, Brits took a record 11.8 million domestic overnight holidays in England up 3% on the previous record set in 2017.
