RCI and FLC Group announced its affiliation partnership at a spectacular gala dinner held at Lotte Hotel in Hanoi, Vietnam last Friday, 16 June 2018. The event was graced by Mr Lê Thành Vinh, Vice Chairman of FLC Group, Mr Jonathan Mills, Managing Director of RCI Asia Pacific and DAE Global, Mr. Daniel Tan, Business Development Director for South East Asia, RCI. About 700 distinguished guests also attend the event.

Hosted by popular Vietnamese emcee Lại Văn Sâm, the evening’s program included a Q&A session where Mr Vinh, Mr Mills and Mr Tan shared insights on vacation ownership and its potential in Vietnam. Guests were also treated to exciting performances by Vietnamese pop singer Mỹ Linh and other artistes.

“I am excited to be here in Hanoi to celebrate the new partnership between RCI and FLC Group and to welcome these six resorts to our RCI exchange network. Our affiliation with FLC will add to our member’s choices of high-quality properties in new holiday destinations, allowing us to provide amazing vacation experiences for our members,” said Mills.

These six properties are located in popular tourist destinations across Vietnam including four new cities for RCI Members – Vinh Phuc, Samson, Quy Nhon and Ha Long. With these additions, RCI’s portfolio in Vietnam now boasts over 23 properties across 10 cities, adding new holiday options to its 3.8 million global exchange members.

According to statistics provided by Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, Vietnam welcomed a record of 12.9 million tourist arrivals in 2017 – surpassing the total number of visitors in 2016 by 29 percent – on track of the Vietnamese government’s target to develop tourism in Vietnam as a key economic sector by 2020.

“An affiliation with RCI adds value to ownership at FLC’s resorts, and offers our owners access to a world of endless vacation opportunities,” said Vinh. “In recent years, FLC has been recognized for its development projects, particularly in the resort real estate segment. With more than 50 real estate development projects in Vietnam, coupled with our partnership with RCI, we believe FLC is positioned for growth in the coming years.”
